Session 2 - Parkinson's Yoga, Spinal Movement and Forward Folding

Catherine teaches how to incorporate the "cat-cow" movement in the thoracic spine as well as moving into a wide-leg seated posture. Moving the spine while taking full breaths improves oxygen exchange in lungs and helps the student to retain mobility in torso.

The DVD, Catherine Genzler Yoga - Yoga for People Living with Parkinson's Disease, which you can purchase here, is a compilation of each of the 5 practice sessions featured here.
